San Juan IBT Fishing Report - August 16, 2019

The first fishing day of the International Billfish Tournament of Club Nautico de San Juan reported 20 releases, including three boats with two blue marlin, each, which are: Lady Abi with anglers José “Joche” Valdés and Víctor Caldwell; Prisa with two releases from local Federico Stubbe, and Angela with lucky rods of Angel Muntaner and Trent Glaub.

Other anglers with great performance in day one are:

Javier Torres in Batichica

Alejandro Grillasca in Paolo

Matteo Defalco in Bolita

Alberto Rodríguez in Live Line

Robert Birriel in Sari Victoria

Herminio Amador in Heavy Duty, among others.

Salvador Egea, Jr., chairman of the 66th edition, said fishing was very good and expecting to have a great competition tomorrow and Sunday, August 18 when the tournament –with five participanting countries—will come to an end with an elegant Awards Ceremony!
