My "Costa Rica Blue Marlin Fly Fishing School" season (June, July, August) went exceptionally well with my Fly Fishing clients averaging 10 Blue Marlin caught on fly using IGFA rules with 20 pound test class tippet, per trip, that breaks down to catching an average of more than 3 Blue Marlin per day during the entire season. As of today the marlin are still on the FADS so we are planning to fish at least 12 "Costa Rica Blue Marlin Fly Fishing School" trips next season. These trips are designed for my anglers to arrive in CR on Sunday or Monday, Head out aboard "Dragin Fly" on Monday, Fly Fish from dawn to dark on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and head back toward Los Suenos after fishing on Thursday, Arrive back at my Condo on Friday morning and then depart either on Friday or Saturday, each week of the season. As of now 6 of those 12 weeks are already reserved, If you are planning a Blue Marlin Fly Fishing trip with us during the 2020 season please contact me soon so I can lock in the prime weeks that you are looking for, (305-872-6060).

Next Issue is; "The 11th annual Jake Jordan Invitational Sailfish Fly Challenge" tournament, held each year during January, at the world class "Casa Vieja Lodge" in Guatemala. This years event is scheduled to take place on January 6, 7, 8, 9, with teams arriving on January 5 and departing on January 10, 2020. During the last ten years of this event which is limited to 10 teams of one or two anglers per boat, we have been the longest lasting, and most productive Bill fish Fly Fishing Tournament ever, with more Bill fish caught and released during this last ten years than all other Bill fish Fly fishing tournaments put together, ever. Normally there a group of 6 or 7 teams which fish each year with some dropping out and others forming a new team to compete in this fun event. This year as of a month ago I had 7 teams confirmed to fish with another 3 new teams trying to put together an entry. With the loss of communications for almost a month many things have happened, including during the last couple of days 4 of the 7 teams for various reasons have decided to take the year off and not fish the tournament. I am trying to put together 5 more teams to enter this event before the end of August, if I am not successful then one of several things may happen, one of those things is to cancel this years tournament and return deposits to registered teams, and not hold the event anymore. Another possibility is to move the event to the spring or fall and out of the busy winter season, or possibly work with Casa Vieja Lodge to use their awesome contacts to open the tournament to the public and drop the Invitational status,. In any event I have several thousand awesome big game fly anglers on this list that fish with me or my friends often, it is very easy for me to fill my Sailfish School School trips, Marlin School Schools, and Spearfish Schools, however for some reason this awesome event may go the way of the other great Bill fish Fly Tournaments of the past due to lack of participation? "Just Saying" If you have any interest, please contact me right now, not much time left, We can sell all of the Casa Vieja Lodge fleet with no problem, but once we do that the fly tournament in prime season is over. 305-872-6060

My Plans for a October and November "Mag Bay Striped Marlin Fly Fishing School" for 2019 are not looking good, I thought I had a good boat and crew together at a fair price to all, however the boat and crew has not been able to confirm and the season starts in the next 6 weeks. The 6 angler teams that have told me that they want to do this will probably have to wait another year for me to get this fishery off the ground. If something changes I will let you know immediately .

Albie season, October and November is approaching quickly, my vessel "Fly Reel" will be fishing out of the Radio Island Marina again this season. It looks like I will be here to fish this season, however should my Striped Marlin Schools happen at the last minute I do have a great local captain (guide) to take my place to work the season. My available dates are :October, 1 2 3 4 5 6, 11 12 18 19 20 21 22 23 27 28 29, along with November: 1 2 along with 8 through 23. If you have any interest in catching some awesome Albies or Giant Red Fish on fly here in the Cape Lookout region of North Carolina please contact me soon, I just taking reservations yesterday and I am getting requests for prime Albie dates everyday.

This is my first attempt at sending an email blast. If you receive this email please respond by typing, "I Got It"
Thank You
Regards
