Well that was fun. A nice light load with biting 130-220lb bluefin and 45-70lb yellowfin. Most our fish were caught on flat fall jigs and sinkered baits with a couple on fly line and 1 on the yummy. Our anglers that hadn't boated a big boy yet tag teamed the yummy fish and brought that beast to gaff in less than 20mins. The Mak20sea on a Phenix 4X is one mean combo. Glad we just put 3 more onboard for skipping multiple fliers simultaneously. She taped out to 219.7 and was filleted out and spit up amongst our anglers sending everyone home with big 'ol bags of grade A sashimi. We had lots of opportunities first thing in the morning but even 60lb is proving to be insufficient for these big boys and many casualties were suffered. I'm stripping off the 60 and topping our boat gear off with 80-200 pound if you need it. Most of our fish were landed on 100-200 pound test. Make sure you guys come prepared with heavy equipment. You can leave the light stuff at home.

See you tonight!
