Just recently we had Dave, his daughter, and her friends aboard the Majek chasing redfish. The weatherman missed… again! Winds were heavy out of the East, temperatures were colder than forecasted, and heavy cloud coverage greeted us as we headed out. We caught two on a protected shoreline, but 49-degree water temps had the fish slow to eat or do much of anything else. Midday morning, we made a move to find cleaner water and put 18 in the boat, plus a donor green trout to finish off their limit. Great crew that was a pleasure to fish with!
