2018 has begun as an amazing year for Salinas and Manta Ecuador. If you have not booked a trip to fish these highly productive marlin waters this year then you are missing out of billfish history in the making. For those who love wahoo and tuna hot action Galapagos continues to be the best location in South America. With dozens of wahoo and tuna bite possible in a day it is hard to imagine a better place to fish.

Ecuador:
The conditions with the Humboldt, Equatorial and Panama currents all meeting on the Equator are bringing lots of baitfish and billfish with them. Blue marlin and lots of them as well as black and striped marlin out of Salinas. Fishing has been phenomenal to say the least all January long and Manta has been very good. The coast of Ecuador has some unbelievable marlin fishing all year from Esmeraldas in the North to Salinas in the South
