Cap Verde Bite is Working Fishing Report - July 01, 2017

We went 3 for 3 on Blue marlin yesterday aboard 'Hooker' off Cape Verde, all on the pitch. Our last fish was a solid 900 pounds that we pitched our new XL Strong Pakula Lures and Tackle Dojo Hook to (this new hook is awesome for lure fishing, and I like the stronger gauge option when big fish are around). Perfectly hooked in the corner of the mouth we had the drag at sunset (65pounds) for well over an hour as she dogged us, but released her full of color. (No photo’s of her unfortunately, to much boat driving to do on the big girl to pick up the camera. The two smaller fish, we pitched our good old Eagle Claw circles to. The fish came up on the large Changa from Pakula. Happy days with the 4th July Blue Marlin World Cup just around the corner!
