Here is the latest recapture report from The Billfish Foundation:

Bluefin Tuna recapture off Spain! This bluefin was tagged off of Stellwagon Bank, MA by the Tag-a-Tiny program from Large Pelagics Research Center, with Capt. Gary Cannell with angler Jack Kinsely and released at an estimated 53 inches. The bluefin was at large for 2248 days (Sept 4, 2008 - May 15, 2015) and traveled more than 3,000 miles where it was recaptured off of Carboneras, Spain. The fish was reported to us by ICCAT and grew to 200 kilos - dressed weight.

Congratulations and thanks for reporting the recapture. Thanks to all our Tag & Release sponsors Pelagic, King Sailfish Mounts, Costa Sunglasses, Simrad Yachting, Casa Vieja Lodge, Bisbee's Fish & Wildlife Conservation Fund.
