West Marine Opens Aventura, Florida Flagship Store

West Marine, the world's largest boating and fishing outfitter, recently opened a 15,000-square-foot retail center in Aventura, Florida, right outside of Miami. They gave FishTrack a behind-the-scenes look at the new store and the thousands of fishing and boating products available.

The new West Marine store offers a giant fishing selection and is staffed by local experts who can help customers pick out the best lures and gear to get the job done. They also have a line-winding machine to spool up reels with new line.

We were very impressed with the diverse apparel selection at the new south Florida West Marine location. You'll find the latest products for every type of on-the-water activity from technical fishing apparel to foul-weather gear to dockside shirts and sunglasses.

You'll also find the latest coolers, every boating and trailer part or accessory you could possibly need, and perhaps a few of FishTrack's Land Sucks! stickers floating around.

West Marine's employees are all actual boaters who use the products they sell. They stock the latest in marine electronics, but they're also very helpful when you have questions about what might be the best fit for your boat. They'll also make sure to train you on all of the functionality of each machine.

West Marine offers a full line of stand-up paddleboards and treated FishTrack and other local media to an excursion at the beautiful Oleta River State Park, just a few minutes from the store.

The Aventura location stocks everything you could possibly need when fishing inshore or offshore.

With some expert advice, the West Marine team had everyone paddling their boards with ease. It was very evident that each West Marine employee has a unique connection to the water and practices what they preach.
