Captain Josh Temple arrived in Antigonish, Nova Scotia on Sept 2nd just in time for the annual run of giant bluefin tuna that pour into the Northumberland Straight to gorge on massive herring and mackerel schools. These giant bluefin, often topping 1,000 pounds, make the annual pilgrimage to the waters just off Cape George, Nova Scotia to fatten up on the areas rich bait stocks before heading across the north Atlantic ocean and into the Mediterranean Sea to spawn.
